Spring/Summer 2026 Paid Internship

What I Do

I’m Sharon Winsmith, an attorney and wealth advisor who’s advised Fortune 500 companies and worked on over $45 billion in acquisitions. I’ve been the personal tax advisor to some of the wealthiest people in the U.S. and abroad, which means I’ve seen exactly how they make their money.

Now I’m here to disrupt outdated financial advice and help ambitious people build wealth without the BS.

I create content that teaches high-earners the money strategies the 1% actually use—not your grandparents’ financial advice about clipping coupons and maxing out 401ks. We create educational content (videos, courses, newsletters) that make complex topics like tax strategy, asset protection, and wealth building actually understandable.

Here’s the problem: I’m creating tons of content based on real expertise, but I need help getting it polished and out into the world. That’s where you come in.

What You’ll Actually Do

This isn’t a “get coffee and shadow someone” internship. You’ll be doing real work that matters.

We’re not married to titles or rigid job descriptions—we care more about finding the right person and letting the role evolve from there.

The type of work you will do includes:

  • Turning rough concepts into finished digital products people actually want to consume
  • Editing videos and creating simple animations or visual explanations
  • Building polished materials such as digital workbooks and guides, slide decks and presentations, templates, checklists, models, and downloadable resources
  • Help manage and organize our growing library of digital products
  • Update websites, write and refine copy, and schedule content
  • Assist with onboarding new customers and improving the user experience
  • Respond to customer emails — real people asking thoughtful, real questions
  • Research topics related to tax planning, investing strategies, asset protection, insurance, and psychology and decision-making

You’ll get exposure to how a business is actually built, not just marketed.

Who We’re Looking For

The minimum requirements we are looking for include:

  • Experience with video editing software
  • Graphic design skills
  • Comfort creating clean, professional visuals (slides, documents, layouts)
  • Website editing
  • Experience with Canva
  • Content management experience
  • Working knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets
  • Animation creation (preferred)
  • Experience with Kajabi and Mailchimp (preferred)
  • Marketing or business background is a plus, but not required

People who will find success here:

  • Care about details and quality of your work
  • Like the behind-the-scenes work of actually building things
  • Enjoy learning complex topics and explaining them simply
  • Can write clearly and catch your own typos
  • Self-motivated – you don’t need someone watching over your shoulder
  • Can learn new platforms/tools quickly

You will be a great fit at this company if you can take messy ideas and make them clear.

~15+/week during the semester, with the option to go full-time in the summer/fall if you’re great and want to keep going

TIMELINE

Now (whenever you are ready to get started) – August 2026 with option to stay on full-time after

LOCATION

Remote, but with a stipend for a co-working space if you stay on full-time and prefer an office space

Why This is Different

Let’s be honest: most internships are BS. You make decks no one reads, you sit in meetings you don’t need to be in, and you learn approximately nothing about how to actually build something.

This is not that. Here’s what makes this untraditional:

✔️ You’ll learn how a real business operates—no corporate bureaucracy, but actual decision-making, content creation, customer relationships, and revenue generation.

✔️ You will work directly with the founder.

✔️ You will build real, transferable skills in content creation, strategy, and execution.

I care about what you want to do with your career. If you’re using this internship to figure out your next move—whether that’s starting your own thing, going into finance, or something completely different—I’ll support that.

You won’t be doing busy work. If I’m asking you to do something, it’s because it actually matters to the business.

How to Apply

Don’t send me a boring cover letter. Show me something.
